Two victims appear on the ground being surrounded by the patch wearing gang members.

Friday’s incident has promoted a public meeting in Coromandel at 6pm tomorrow evening (Wednesday), having been called by local Member of Parliament Scott Simpson, also attending is fellow MP Mark Mitchell.

Reacting to the incident local councillor John Morrisey described the attack as vicious and no-way excusable. John said he was aware of concerns amongst residents.

The gang members were believed to be travelling through Coromandel after visiting Kennedy Bay. Police are looking to provide more information today.
